2011 In Review

Wow, it has been a long time since i've visisted here. I guess i have have been so busy being busy.... that the time just slipped away. But that ol' familiar twinge has been seeting in; the one that is just beyond reach and can only be accesssed through pen and paper. I'm happy to upgrade to a keyboard though as it makes the words come faster and editing a brreze!

So, How You been, What have you been up to? I long to hear your reverie.

As for me, shortly after I left here, i went off the LEAN Meal Replacement Shakes however keeping the LIMU juice for My self and Family and of course Bean. By the way is doing just fine! His heartworms have been eliminated from his system and he is happy as a lark. We still drain the excess fluid from his abdomen every 2 weeks. Currently we have him on Lasix - a water pill or diuretic i think. Anyways it is supposed to help keep the fluid from building up so fast. The fluid retention is caused by heart or kidney failure and this drug Doc said is given to heart failure patients.

There I go again, off on a busy tangent.

There is just so much... the I's and me's are competing.

Such is life with AN (Anorexia Nervosa). Always distracting you from what is really happening.

Then the unseen paranoia.

Anyways, just a glimpse there.

The Holidays are always the worst for me. It starts with Haloween and doesn't end until near St. Patrick' Day.

I enjoy creating and maintaing our own website - Healthy Food and Supplements for Survival or (LadyLimu.com) for short. This is where i've been busy at work. It has allowed me to have a stable place of residence (if You will) where we can be in control of our visions for the future of our Families and businesses. A place where we can bring our talents together and happy to help other people Hope for the Best and Prepare for the Worse - our motto, creed and way of life.

It is my passion to bring hope and healing to... well, the world. (Aquarious and AN all or nothing mentality)

Wayne's passion comes through Functional art and knifesmithing.

So, I'm doing good and moving forward with our dreams of having our own website so that it can pay for Me being a stay at home mom and wife to a disabled man.

I think the scale would say otherwise; i thought about getting on this morning but passed off the thought to go to work. Wayne has told me in the past week that he has noticed I don't eat as much and look like I'm losing weight.

But, oh how easy it is to stay busy moving forward and trying Not to let the increasing paranoia and anxiety set in. There is so much to do that I had not realized that goes into a website. It has kept me quite busy just to stay on top of things and with dial-up speed, i simply don't Feel like I have enough hours in the day to "waste" My time eating and resting. (says the Unspoken AN Voice as it propels mySelf another endless hour).

Why did I ever stop drinking the LEAN Meal Replacement Shakes in the first place then?

Halloween wasn't so bad. My daughter and i worked at the Fall Festival at our church and i had a Blast. Being around all the children and their parents allowed me to be free. Laughter, hugs and candy were flowing and what could be any better?

Thanksgiving came and went with plenty of food on the plate with the Family. I loaded the plate and seconds came happily. I enjoyed the tremendous amount of food and welcomed all the flavors. By now i think I didn't eat so much. I remember that i didn't eat many leftovers, mostly just the sweet potatoes.

By this time, I was kinda freaked about coming out and saying what i had to say. In true AN fashion and form, it was around this time that I was forced to go within. Too many variables going on from all different sides that made my mind want to run and hide. Without the Nutrients and Protein from my shakes, the AN was ready to once again take shape.

An uncontrollable fear took hold that if I ever told what was happening in my life, it would cause others' strife. It's the Last thing an Anorexic wants to do - the Person would do anything to keep from hurting You.

The Confusion and Doubt must always stay within. It must never enter into the Friend or Family space. For these feeling are too hard to embrace so keep them to the self and Never let the secrets you know out. Too many people will be hurt once they know and loyaly is worth it's weight in gold.

So says that AN Voice now that it speaks!!

Is that what this horrid Feeling has been all about?

Then it occured to me that it has been too long since i've been allowed to speak.

Is it paranoia or is it forsight that has been gripping me? Is it the AN who refuses to die or is it really I that sometimes Does see?

Christmas was both a Blessing and a (commercial) curse. Both sides of me were distinctly parted equally between complete joy and despair. My Daughter was home for school break which doesn't always happen year to year. I could not have asked for a better gift than to have my children present.

Oh how i loved waking Christmas morn' with her and church together! Where celebrating the birth of Jesus and worshiping Him for all He has done for salvation, grace and merciful health to everyone flowed freely under the bright sun.

When time came to come home, My reaction was stark faced with knowing there were no presents to go under the non-existant tree. This Christmas for us like many around was extremely bleak. With only $280 a week coming in from all sources, we were happy to have the necessities of a home, lights and heat. But it doesn't leave anything for a Christmas treat.

That's ok I say because I'm working hard everyday.

It wouldn't matter anyway because withOut a name there really is no way to trace it back.

That's ok, mistakes happen as I can clearly see by running my own website it's just a bit of human error You see.

So when the call came from LIMU Member Support about a week ago telling Me that there must be some mistake, i listened intently and gave all the information I knew. Yes, I had spoken to a person and Yes, I took her order. Yes I explained the details of her website and Yes I showed her it was a one time order and Yes, I let her know how to reorder, through her website, The LImu Company or simply call me. And Yes, the last thing she made sure to ask was if when she reorders will my Member ID need to be entered to make sure I get the credit. No, I told her, it was all set and the best part was that she would have her juice by Christmas day.

Member support was as puzzled as me. She let me off the phone letting it be known that she would call me back if needed.

The phone rang a short while later and it was Member Support calling to let me know there was some mistake and the person who knowingly signed up with Me was now placed with another. Seems that she did Not hear about the juice from me so therefore once again it did Not matter that it was my iamlimu site that took her order.

Ok AN just shut up! This is just paranoia springing up. There is no truth and my loyalty Will Not be tested. It is you, AN that must be rested!

I try to shrug this off as i immerse myself in work, studies and maintaining a home. However, to be honest, it has been easier to keep the peace at work as my mind is inefectual at home.

I now study website design and optimization in addition to a relentless need to understand more of the nutrients of seaweed and how Fucoidan affects the body so well.

It was today that i felt so strong about getting back 2B RecoverED and me.

Too much time has passed since I allowed me to breathe. What is bottled inside I do not know, but seeing ribs in the mirror is a sure sign that all is Not good to go.

Then (later today) I get a call from my Mother, the other Lady Limu who I gave my site to. I figured it was the least I could do was give her the website that I have grown. I cannot repay her for all she is to me so this was the least I could do you see.

She called to tell me an interesting story of her own about a person who came to her ladylimu.iamlimu.com website to start their own LIMU Experience with LadyLimu as her guide. I was overjoyed as you can imagine. On her way to providing my Dad what he needs to stay healthy as horse for free. The Limu Company system and websites working without a doubt.

The conversation turned when Member Support was brought in. Upon my Mom's call, the inquiry was made about this new customer who signed up and what the order entailed so Mom could give an informed Welcome call.

"Oh. Um. Just a minute, I'll have to put You on hold." Member Support told her. When she came back, she had this to say, "This person already has different sponsor, and so was placed with them."

Now I am starting to see that maybe it is Not paranoia, like somebody is after just me. Paranoia points to things that are personally affective. But now my Mom is also being involved in this "conspiracy" just by her having the Lady Limu name.

It was this name that i chose for a website to help promote the most innovative alternative health products of this century, that had been sending countless people to The Orphanage (the actual name the Company gives to those who have no sponsor). By generously providing The LIMU Company Member ID on the site of the Real Person who who was working and promoting the site and products, there was now a way to circumvent those "undesireables" The Company did not want to see succeed.

Because LIMU liquid diet aid supplements are my Life Force and I've spent over 4 years dedicating my time and energy to the Study of Fucoidan and it's effects on the Human body, I had to dismiss the first signs of paranoia. I simply could not believe that the beloved Company and People who surround it could be so money hungy and sneaky as could be.

I dismissed the thought at once and determined to cross My t's and dot my i's to prevent any human error in My presentation of The Blessing ather than mine.

So 2011, The Company's Member Support told me to get my own website.

I could not share My Entire Limu Experience on my iamlimu site.

My Experience started with the hope I recieved when I heard about my Uncle Terry's Throat Cancer and how LIMU was killing the tumor. The chemo and radiation was Not affecting him at all, his body was able to not only survive but thrive during all this Simply Because he was getting These Nutrients in a bottle. The pictures were contraversial that Member support told me that if I wanted to publish them for Aunt Jane, I would have to go to GoDaddy.com or some other place and have a website of my own built. Neither Aunt Jane or I could publish these pictures with The Company.

This is where i have been all year. Immersed in doing what I believe is beneficial to others (and our Family and Friends) - bringing Good News of peace and health with joy and prosperity to You. I've also been doing as i'm told. I am running my own business, both online and with everyday people I meet. I have been expanding our website, that I control. I present the facts and the pro's. But I've been keeping the con's to myself and the AN is feeding off them.

I must be honest with mySelf. I must see Reality for the way it is.

I've been living a lie.

I have only let all the Good things come through. I have allowed me to become complacent in My Life by using the deragorratory term "Paranoia" to subdue the reality that surrounds me.

This is why i have not been back. The reason why i fell silent. The very aspect AN has used against me these past months.

It knows that i cannot live without My LIMU. Anorexia Nervosa canNot survive With Nutrients - with This Liquid Diet.

What is AN's biggest tool?

Guilt.

If AN can evoke feelings of guilt, it will win every time.

How does AN make a person feel guilty?

By making the Person keep secrets.

Does it matter what the secrets are?

no.

the more the better.

the more people the secret will hurt, the better and more useful it is.

What is my biggest secret?

That i am promoting a way to make money with a system that has time again proven to not work.

Time to get out those bright colored construction papers and
the stack of address labels that have been piling up to start another round of
Kudo charts.

I have allowed myself once again to use this Deadly Diet as a means to an end.
The end being a fully functioning, income generating website that I have complete control over -
for better or worse - it is what i make of it, the effort I put in and
the grace of God that will propel it from here on out.

Seems rather a strange predicament to find one's Self in isn't it?
To actually Need a tangible, visual reminder of the food eaten in a day.
I, myself have to laugh snidely at times because i have simply "forgotten to eat".

Oh, I've been doing my LIMU shots, however they too have come begrudgingly.
"Just so much to do." The Voice urges silently.
" Gotta fix That now..." she says before scurrying around the keyboard.
"There simply is No time to stop." AN declares somewhere deep inside and
i am forced into remission as I am tuned to her Voice and must abide.

So, i think it wise to fall back on the teaching's of youth, in this case -
A Kudo Chart full of fun and smiles to Celebrate a Big Job Well Done!
and give the Real (pre-anorexic) me as sense of belonging again within Myself.

The Really Funny part? i Love Food!
Ask anyone who knew me when I was young or on a "good" day.

Anyways, lesson learned...again.

Be aware of the Eating Disorders Warning Signs so that Your Family can get help
before this mental and physical disease has a chance to fester.

Next year I will be turning 40 and i do Not wish this on My worst enemy.
With Anorexia Nervosa having the highest number of deaths of any mental illness, it is imperative that we, Parents need to nurture this basic survival instinct early and often.

Summer Laundry Tip

Do You hate that funky smell when the door to the washing machine is opened, when unbeknownst to you at the time, has been filled with laundry that sat too long in the summertime heat? I sure do!

Don't waste time, energy, detergent and money to rewash the load.

Add 2 Tablespoons of Amonia to the Final Rinse Cycle.

They come out smelling like the've been humg on the line!

The cautionary tale behind this scenario (I experienced earlier this morning) is do Not add a bunch or glug of the amonia bottle. You could and it probably did clean out the washer and pipes...LOL But the clothes had to be run through another rinse cycle, which should have been a whole wash cycle without soap to be effective.

Sometimes, Less really Is more. Go figure!

My New Home: Healthy Food and Supplements for Survival Blog

I'm pleased to announce our new website: Healthy Food and Supplements for Survival.

With a site of my own, i will finally have a "home" where I can keep all my thoughts, experiences and feelings in one place.

This should help with the Self Integration process that has been eluding me for my whole adult life and especially in the last 4 years since starting my journey 2BRecoverED from the Eating Disorder Anorexia.

Having too many places for that voice to hide is Not a good thing, and so it has been my dream since day one to own and program my own website. Here I get to work with my Husband, Wayne as we continue to indulge our passions for his survival preparedness and my commitment to Break The SILENCE of Eating Disorders while providing real hope, help, health and financial stability with LIMU products that are the premier Fucoidan rich, liquid diet supplements.

Our ultimate survival in this 21^st Century depends on only one common denominator: the health of our body. The other necessities: Food, Shelter and Water are all combined to provide that health. WHO: Diet, Nutrition and Prevention of Chronic Diseases

• Up to 2.7 million lives could be saved annually with sufficient fruit and vegetable consumption.

• Low fruit and vegetable intake is among the top 10 selected risk factors for global mortality.

• Worldwide, insufficient intake of fruit and vegetables is estimated to cause around 14% of gastrointestinal cancer deaths, about 11% of ischaemic heart disease deaths and about 9% of stroke deaths.

• Low fruit and vegetable intake is among the top 10 risk factors contributing to attributable mortality, according to evidence presented in World Health Report 2003. Up to 2.7 million lives could potentially be saved each year with sufficient global fruit and vegetable consumption. Fruits and vegetables as part of the daily diet could help prevent major noncommunicable diseases (NCD) such as cardiovascular diseases and certain cancers. Eating a variety of vegetables and fruits clearly ensures an adequate intake of most micronutrients, dietary fibres and a host of essential non-nutrient substances. • Worldwide, low intake of fruits and vegetables is estimated to cause about 19% of gastrointestinal cancer, about 31% of ischemic heart disease and 11% of stroke. Of the global burden attributable to low fruit and vegetable consumption, about 85% was from cardiovascular disease (CVD) and 15% from cancers. The estimated levels of current fruit and vegetable intake vary considerably around the world ranging from less than 100g/day in less developed countries, to about 450 g/day in Western Europe.

A recent WHO/FAO expert consultation report on diet, nutrition and prevention of chronic diseases, sets population nutrient goals and recommends intake of a minimum of 400 g of fruits and vegetables per day for the prevention of chronic diseases such as heart diseases, cancer, diabetes and obesity. The report states that there is convincing evidence that fruits and vegetables decrease the risk for obesity, and evidence that they probably decrease the risk of diabetes. Further, there is convincing evidence that fruit and vegetables lower the risk for CVD. (The report specifies that the tubers, e.g. potatoes, cassava, should not be included in fruits and vegetables.)

A high-level international review on fruit and vegetable consumption and cancer risk, coordinated by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), concluded that eating fruits and vegetables may lower the risk of cancer, particularly cancers of the gastrointestinal tract. IARC estimates that the preventable fraction of cancer due to low fruit and vegetable intake falls into the range of 5-12 % and up to 20-30% for upper gastro-intestinal tract cancers world-wide.

WHO’s mandate

WHO’s mandate is to improve public health around the world with particular emphasis on decreasing inequalities in health. In May 2002, WHO was requested by the Member States to develop a Global Strategy on Diet, Physical Activity and Health in the context of the rising burden of chronic diseases. During a series of regional consultations to develop the strategy, Member States stressed to WHO the importance of working proactively with them to assist in increasing the consumption of fruit and vegetables. With this obligation and the above-cited scientific base, WHO aims to actively promote an increase in fruit and vegetable intake worldwide, especially in developing countries. Incorporation of fruit and vegetable consumption as part of national noncommunicable disease (NCD) prevention and school health programmes is a central aim."

Overview of Nutrition in Cancer Care

Cancer and cancer treatments may cause nutrition-related side effects.

The diet is an important part of cancer treatment. Eating the right kinds of foods before, during, and after treatment can help the patient feel better and stay stronger. To ensure proper nutrition, a person has to eat and drink enough of the foods that contain key nutrients (vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and water). For many patients, however, some side effects of cancer and cancer treatments make it difficult to eat well. Symptoms that interfere with eating include anorexia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, mouth sores, trouble with swallowing, pain, depression, and anxiety. Appetite, taste, smell, and the ability to eat enough food or absorb the nutrients from food may be affected. Malnutrition (lack of key nutrients) can result, causing the patient to be weak, tired, and unable to resist infections or withstand cancer therapies. Eating too little protein and calories is the most common nutrition problem facing many cancer patients. Protein and calories are important for healing, fighting infection, and providing energy.

Anorexia and cachexia are common causes of malnutrition in cancer patients.

Anorexia (the loss of appetite or desire to eat) is a common symptom in people with cancer. Anorexia may occur early in the disease or later, when the tumor grows and spreads. Some patients may have anorexia when they are diagnosed with cancer. Almost all patients who have widespread cancer will develop anorexia. Anorexia is the most common cause of malnutrition in cancer patients.
Cachexia is a wasting syndrome that causes weakness and a loss of weight, fat, and muscle. It commonly occurs in patients with tumors of the lung, pancreas, and upper gastrointestinal tract and less often in patients with breast cancer or lower gastrointestinal cancer. Anorexia and cachexia often occur together. Weight loss can be caused by eating fewer calories, using more calories, or a combination of the two. Cancer cachexia is not the same as starvation. A healthy person's body can adjust to starvation by slowing down its use of nutrients, but in cancer patients, the body does not make this adjustment.

Good eating habits during cancer care help the patient cope with the effects of the cancer and its treatment.

Nutrition therapy can help cancer patients get the nutrients needed to maintain body weight and strength, prevent body tissue from breaking down, rebuild tissue, and fight infection. Eating guidelines for cancer patients can be very different from the usual suggestions for healthful eating. Nutrition recommendations for cancer patients are designed to help the patient cope with the effects of the cancer and its treatment. Some cancer treatments are more effective if the patient is well nourished and getting enough calories and protein in the diet. People who eat well during cancer treatment may even be able to handle higher doses of certain treatments. Being well-nourished has been linked to a better prognosis (chance of recovery).

My friend, have you heard of the town of Nogood,

On the banks of the River Slow,

Where blooms the Waitawhile flower fair,

Where Sometimeorother scents the air,

And the soft Goeasies grow?

It lies in the Valley of Whatstheuse,

In the Province of Letterslide.

That Tiredfeeling is native there,

It's the home of the reckless Idontcare,

Where the Giveitups abide.

It stands at the bottom of Lazyhill,

And easy to reach, I declarre;

You've only to fold up your hands and glide

Down the slope of Weakwill's toboggan slide

To be landed quickly there.

The town is as old as the human race

And it grows with the flint of years.

Mind Roads: Breathing

Speaking of mind roads, my daughter asked a very good question just the other night.

“Mom, when you breathe does your tummy go in or out with each breath you take in?”

I had to really think about the answer. “Well, the Proper way is to have the belly push out a little on inhale and then go down on the exhale.”

“Good. Then I’m doing it right.” She said with a smile.

“I’m really proud of You,” I told her. “Did You know that I was in my late 30’s before I learned that my breathing was all wrong? This is cool that Your brain already has been taught the Right way. This will come in handy in Your adult life when stress gets too high. Just do Your breathing the right way and the body will tell the mind that You are relaxed.”

“Well, I used to watch Papa breathing all the time when we sat on the sofa together. That’s how he breathes.”

“I’m glad that You were paying attention and learned this very important tool so now that You are a teenager, that road will be paved into a super highway and You will never have to Think about breathing again.”

Yes, something seemingly “simple” as breathing is actually a complex network of roads to be mapped out & paved into the weaving of the mind.

As babies, this mechanism of life is automatic; just watch one sleep. Their bellies rise up when the inhale deeply, then lower as the exhale and then they hold their breath for a few moments to start the process all over again.

Sudden Infant Death Syndrome occurs when the brain or body “forgets” to start the process over again.

The forgetting is due to that particular road not being cleared out all the way. For some reason it gets hung up the debris littering the way (unformed brain cells & functions) and simply stops where it’s at.

As we grow older we learn to adjust and adapt to our surrounding environments. Our brains get more materials to work with ~ cells & mass capable of carrying, forwarding and retrieving the myriad of information taken in everyday.

Nutrition, of course, plays a Huge part in this.

In my case, i had altered my breathing pattern by an early age.

When I was 10-12 years old we went to Park Point Beach right across the street from Grampa’s house at the foot of the Arial Lift Bridge in Duluth, MN. All I can remember about that day is being at home with a decent size piece of glass lodged deep into my heel.

As I laid on Mom and Dad’s bed while he dug it out with tweezers and a needle, and she was holding me in a half cuddle, half straddled so I couldn’t move, i started my “new” breathing technique that i taught Myself sometime earlier but it all came back.

I would suck the air deep in my lungs until they hurt, then I would hold the breath for as long as I possibly could before letting it out to start this backwards process over and over again as my hands drew up in fists.

For how long did this go on? I have no idea.

The piece of glass out, a splash of some antiseptic and they turned me over to find a severely hyperventilated child whose hands were balled up so tight, not even my “motor head” Dad could loosen when locked up nuts & bolts posed no problem.

We came out, sat on the sofa and i got to have Oreo’s ™ and milk as my parents each had a hand to massage while they spoke softly to me – i don’t think I responded for I cannot remember what they said.

So, this was the beginning of my adolescence and the way i trained my mind to respond to adversity – and teenagers always have a problem. LOL

Soon though because this was the road I was laying down to take for breathing, it became the dominate one, then the Only one. In effect I retrained my brain to do exactly the Opposite of what it new how to do and was Supposed to do.

It wasn’t until 3 years into my journey 2BRecoverED that I found out i was doing it all wrong. It took me months and months of practice everyday, in all sorts of situations especially around feeding times to even be able to do it well.

It was a few more months when in the middle of dinner I looked down at my self to see my belly rising as I felt the breath go in. Sure enough, the breath left without a fuss as my tummy went back down. I was amazed!

“I’m doing it!” I shouted then waited for it to happen again. “I’m really doing it!”

“Doing what?” Husband & Daughter asked.

“My breathing, look it’s working right,” and demonstrated for them too.

“Oh.” They both said kind of perplexed. “That’s good!” they responded cheerily.

The neuropathways in the brain are already started in the womb and start to be sown & hewn with plenty of nutrients and good information coming in.

The fact that my daughter has Mastered the “art of breathing” by age 14 fills me with a Certainty beyond Hope that she will indeed excel faster & farther to achieve her dreams and goals.

She fills me with Hope for my tomorrows. In her I see just how important LIMU is for the development of the brain which allows the mind to expand and reach new heights as it pushes the limits of body and very thoughts.

The roads of the mind are not forgotten or lost, just overgrown and covered with sticks & moss, easily cleared away with a clean and healthy supply of blood rushing in daily to flood all the debris out and away from the body.

Old roads retrieved, new building permits received, the work begins anew right where it left off when LIMU shots are taken.

Mind Roads

When we are born, our minds are as a vast, pristine forest uncut and waiting for new pathways to be cleared for the future super highway to go through. We have so much to learn in the short 5 years before we are put on the big yellow bus and sent to school for the next 13. After that, it’s out of the nest to wrestle our way through this life. Either we fly or nose dive.

Anyways, back to the forest… In the beginning our parents fed us food full of nutrients to build strong, healthy bodies & minds to be ready, willing and able to comprehend the information they would spend the next 18 years filtering into us. Hopefully we would make the connections between their good teaching & our behaviors to develop a greater sense of self-esteem, compassion and work ethics that would carry us to be successful in our adult lives.

Now by the time we reach the teen years that vast forest has now become a network of cleared roads, rough paths, all intertwined. It is in adolescence that these roads are paved & widened into 4 or more lanes (depending on the traffic usage of each destination). Take breathing for example. Unfortunately babies die of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome SIDS everyday. We know not why other than they ‘seemingly’ “forgot to breathe”.

As teenagers, we are allowed to make more choices in our lives than ever. This includes our choice of foods to eat. Most parents of this generation (me included) are so happy the kids can feed themselves, that we let them do it without supervision more often; leading to a breakdown in the machine – their bodies are being deprived of the nutrients so lovingly given in youth. When the body is deprived of nutrients the building of those super highways slows down. The work simply cannot be kept up to speed on an empty tank of cells.

What was once a breakneck speed to thrive and succeed has been replaced with the need to survive.

This is where & why Eating Disorders turn deadly. In my case Restrictive Anorexia was my way of life by teen years. Binge on food then restrict.

Oh yeah…the mind roads. LOL

So given malnutrition at a time when the brain is “growing” (if You will) into a Mind, it is likely that the pathways would get stuck somewhere in the building process due to lack of materials to build with.

Add this onto any developmental difficulties of the mental health variety and there it is set in Un-motion and the formula for a difficult transition from basic survival to soaring above personal expectations.

It can only stand to reason that if a child is given a healthy dose of natural, liquid nutrients from Birth to Graduation their formula will dramatically be changed and geared for success in all areas of their Adult Lives.

Their minds would have the fuel to think better, clearer, faster and the ability to expand on their knowledge base would be astounding! They could learn more so they could Do and Be more.

Dreams really Do come True, I’ve seen 1st hand, and when they are realized the repercussions are grand! They reverberate throughout the fabric of that Life to strengthen the mold and set in motion further victories to win.

I owe my children their first 18 years of life. This is the price I gladly pay & would again for their presence every day.

Adult T-cell leukemia is cause by human T-cell leukemia virus type 1 (HTLV-1) and remains incurable.
However, "Fucoidan induced apoptosis of the HTLV-1 infected T-cell lines in addition to partial inhibition of growth tumors in addition to significantly inhibited the growth of peripheral blood (PB) mononuclear cells of ATL patients and the infected T-cell lines but not that of normal PB and mononuclear cells.
These "results indicate that Fucoidan is a potentially useful therapeutic agent for patients with ATL."

The year that is drawing towards its close has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature, that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever watchful providence of Almighty God.

In the midst of a civil war of unequaled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to invite and provoke the aggressions of foreign States, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere, except in the theater of military conflict; while that theater has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union.

The needful diversions of wealth and strength from the fields of peaceful industry to the national defense have not arrested the plough, the shuttle or the ship. Best Thanksgiving

I had the best Thanksgiving dinner that I've had in years! I actually had a loaded plate with all the trimmings and Loved the many different great tastes. The whole Family as well as MySelf was quite surprised to see that I actually Finished my plate.

It's been so long since I have enjoyed this holiday, it's not even funny. Usually after Halloween, my anxiety & AN triggers set in and by Thanksgiving, i was a wreck & could only eat a few morsels to keep my table mates off my back about the whole food & eating issue.
This time was different. The anxiety & whatever triggers that the AN had previously used have been lessened. I enjoyed being at the table, surrounded by Family, good conversation & food. I did not think about restriction once.

I was in training for the past few days - eating more solids throughout the day so that when turkey time came, my mind & stomach would be better equipped to handle the massive amounts. (Massive being a Whole plate)

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: Transplantation of hematopoietic progenitor stem cells (HPC) is an important treatment modality for a variety of neoplastic diseases. HPC collection for transplantation with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor may be unsuccessful in patients who have received prior chemotherapy or for other reasons. Methods to improve mobilization of HPCs are required. Disruption of the interaction between the cell surface receptor CXCR4 and its ligand stromal derived factor-1 (SDF-1) is a mechanism for HPC release from the bone marrow into the peripheral blood (PB).

RESULTS: Following ingestion of Fucoidan, CD34(+) cells increased significantly in the PB from 1.64 to 1.84 cells/microL after 4 days. The proportion of CD34(+) cells that expressed CXCR4 increased from 45 to 90% after 12 days, the plasma level of SDF-1 increased from 1978 to 2010 pg/mL, and IFN-gamma level increased from 9.04 to 9.89 pg/mL.

CONCLUSION: Oral Fucoidan significantly amplified the CXCR4(+) HPC population. The ability to mobilize HPC using sulfated polysaccharides and mobilize more HPC with high levels of CXCR4 could be clinically valuable.

New Dwelling Place

I just stepped off the sale where it read 119-120, leaning closer to the 120 pound mark. I had been putting off the whole scale business for over a week as i continued to see my body in the mirror as getting 'fat' - more like curvy than fat, nevertheless still a dramatic change.

I have been going through a bunch of triggers these couple of weeks, from my Dad's diagnosis of MDS, Halloween, a sick dog and going into the Holiday Season so my eating hasn't been quite up to par as far as feeding Times go. Then the transformation happening before my eyes I guess was a trigger in itself to eat less. I am faithful with my LIMU juice but have been skipping days on the LEAN. Is Fucoidan A Scam?

It's interesting to see that there are so many queries on 'fucoidan scam' in search engines which bring me to today's topic.

In it's most basic form, Fucoidan is NOT a scam, which by definition is a fraudulant or deceptive Act or Operation according to Webster with the 1st known use of the word being in 1963.

Fucoidan is simply a nutrient that comes from a living sea plant, specifically a large sugar molecule (Saccharide). It has no agenda to scheme, swindle or scam; it simply exists in these plants and waits to be consumed by living creatures - is it's only purpose for being.

Is Good Health Expensive

People take better care of their cars than they do of their bodies. Funny, their cars last anywhere from 5 to 10 years on average and can be replaced at anytime with another. We keep the oil changed with only the best oil money can buy, regularly. Put in the best gasoline, keep the oil and air filters changed, tires rotated and balanced so that it will continue to operate at peak performance. Why? Because we have to pay big money for an automobile and because it cost a lot we are going to take care of our investment.

But our bodies are given to us free at birth, free of charge from almighty God. The most "miraculous" living, breathing creation this world has ever known. Such a "great" creation that man and all the money in the world cannot duplicate it. In other words, our health is "Priceless". Yet, because it's free we tend to take it for granted. Our bodies are intended to last us from 70 up to 120 years if taken care of properly and is the only one we can ever have, it can never be replaced! Yet we feed it junk, abuse it, treat it as if it had no value at all . . . If we start feeling bad we just dismiss it and think we'll get better.

We just go on abusing it, feeding it all kinds of unhealthy food, drinking unhealthy water. Then when all else fails, and when we can't get out of bed, then we go to the doctor expecting the doctor to put "Humpty Dumpty" back together again. Then we start poisoning our bodies with man made chemicals & drugs (which our bodies were never designed to operate with), spending all of our money and we wonder why we never get better and continue to get more and more diseases.

MDS and LIMU's Fucoidan

Today I am investigating this MDS and how LIMU with it's Fucoidan may help. My Dad was just diagnosed about a week ago and Mom and I have him on a daily dose of 12oz LIMU plus regular food intake that is not space more than 3 hours apart to combat the Anorexia that his body has been forcing onto him.

The myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS, formerly known as "preleukemia") are a diverse collection of hematological conditions united by ineffective production (or dysplasia) of myeloid blood cells and risk of transformation to acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). MDS has been found in humans, cats and dogs. Anemia requiring chronic blood transfusion is frequently present.

Myelodysplastic syndromes are bone marrow stem cell disorders resulting in disorderly and ineffective hematopoiesis (blood production) manifested by irreversible quantitative and qualitative defects in hematopoietic (blood-forming) cells. In a majority of cases, the course of disease is chronic with gradually worsening cytopenias due to progressive bone marrow failure. Approximately one-third of patients with MDS progress to AML within months to a few years.

The median age at diagnosis of a MDS is between 60 and 75 years; a few patients are younger than 50; MDS diagnoses are rare in children. Males are slightly more commonly affected than females. Signs and symptoms are nonspecific and generally related to the blood cytopenias:

*Anemia—chronic tiredness, shortness of breath, chilled sensation, sometimes chest pain
*Neutropenia- (low neutrophil count) —increased susceptibility to infection
*Thrombocytopenia- (low platelet count) —increased susceptibility to bleeding and ecchymosis (bruising), as well as subcutaneous hemorrhaging resulting in purpura or petechia.

Many individuals are asymptomatic, and blood cytopenia or other problems are identified as a part of a routine blood count:

*neutropenia, anemia and thrombocytopenia (low cell counts of white and red blood cells, and platelets, respectively);
*splenomegaly or rarely hepatomegaly;
*abnormal granules in cells, abnormal nuclear shape and size; and/or
*chromosomal abnormalities, including chromosomal translocations and abnormal chromosome number.

Although there is some risk for developing acute myelogenous leukemia, about 50% of deaths occur as a result of bleeding or infection. Leukemia that occurs as a result of myelodysplasia is notoriously resistant to treatment.

The exact number of people with MDS is not known because it can go undiagnosed and there is no mandated tracking of the syndrome. Some estimates are on the order of 10,000 to 20,000 new cases each year in the United States alone. The incidence is probably increasing as the age of the population increases, and some authors propose that the incidence in patients over 70 may be as high as 15 cases per 100,000 per year.

The goals of therapy are to control symptoms, improve quality of life, improve overall survival, and decrease progression to acute myelogenous leukemia.

Since hearing of Dad's diagnosis, I have been filled with peace about his full recovery. 5 years ago I would have wrecked with this news, filled with anxiety and worry, overcome by depression as my hope would have been non existant given the above information and prognosis.

The drug company GlaxoSmithKline has recently agreed to pay $750 Million to settle a U.S lawsuit over the sale of defective drugs as they plead guilty of manufacturing & distributing the tainted drugs made at their plant. Glaxo said back in July that it agreed in Principle with the U.S. to pay the fees.

Drugs included in the lawsuit:
Antidepressant: Paxil CR
Diabetes: Avandamet

Other Drugs made at the plant include:
Nausea: Kytril
Ointment for skin infections: Bactroban

This lawsuit was 1st filed in 2004 and just Now are we, The People finding out. The fact that for six years Our Government has known of the dangers of this One drug manufacturing plant alone and has kept quiet makes me wonder just how bad this drug problem America has really is.

The Labyrinth

What a whirlwind this past few weeks traveling to and fro across parts of this great land. I got to catch up with some old friends and meet new ones, our family grew thanks to the Bride & Groom. Now I am back home and after a few days of complete rest I find myself beginning to appear again.
My state is comfortable and the anxiety of the outside is beginning to ebb away. I have kept my weight steady & strong not dipping down below my set 115 so that's a good thing. My body is is on the right track, no need to to ever go back to the emaciated way I choose to stay for all those decades.
Now that I am in a stable place with myself, it is time to reflect and then grow from within. This is not an easy task given the miriad personalities that seem to reside within, each with an agenda for this body of mine to take. Integrate is the word and deed but for all to actually agree is what holds me back from being completely Me.

I am coming to realize & understand that My memories have not dissapeared, neither are they impaired by space & time; they are in the different facets of my mind. Being Anorexic has some degree of Dissociation Personality Disorder in order to continue on in that "other" self. Add this illness on top of physical, verbal & sexual abuse along with neglect since early age and no wonder why I cannot remember. I simply did Not experience those episodes. Someone else inside my Body (or System Parts) did.

This is why tracking down the Voice of AN inside the labyrinth of this mind has been so hard. For years I have somehow made it clear that each one of me is to be Seperate from the Self. Never sharing this body at the same time means also never sharing the mind. The AN has been systematically injecting itself into every person'ality' I have. So that 30 yrs later every one is deluted with the toxic Voice of this deadly reason.

Each time one of my persons gets a leg up on the fight 2BRecoverED, the voice starts attacking another & 'forcing' that personality to overcome the 1st for the position to "run" this body & mind. To fight effectively, I must be introduced to and know each one that resides within my mind.
And I though the Physical Healing of Anorexia was going to be a grueling one. It was, but I survived it and I will Survive this too. Maybe now that all my different system parts are starting to trust Me for nourishment called "food", wether it be LIMU or solids, soon each one will find the strength to open up their world to Mine.

Now that my sandwich has had a bit of time to digest as i came out and wrote some, it it time for a short rest to continue to let my body & mind heal.

The End of The Road

The steps along this path, 2BRecoverED, are mine to take;
Either to move forward or stay knocked down for the AN’s sake.

I really had no idea that choice of Mine -
Would cause so much strife.

In My body and in my head are feelings & thoughts
Of sheer dread and the anxiety rises into a crescendo.
As both know I will not give in and stop

The nest of young eagles hung on every word as the Master Eagle described his exploits. This was an important day for the eaglets. They were preparing for their first solo flight from the nest. It was the confidence builder many of them needed to fulfill their destiny.

"How far can I travel?" asked one of the eaglets.
"How far can you see?" responded the Master Eagle.
"How high can I fly?" quizzed the young eaglet.
"How far can you stretch your wings?" asked the old eagle.
"How long can I fly?" the eaglet persisted.
"How far is the horizon?" the mentor rebounded.
"How much should I dream?" asked the eaglet.

"How much can you believe?" the old eagle challenged.

Frustrated by the banter, the young eagle demanded, "Why don't you answer my questions?"

Well, I was looking for the information about what constitutes a recovered state from anorexia, but have so many favorites on that subject that I came across those (previously posted) instead.

A RecoverED (female) AN, i read earlier last week, has had at least 6 months in a row of menses and maintain a Body Mass Index or BMI of 17 or 18%. (I forget which.) This was the information I was searching for. My BMI is 19% and risingwith the addition of LEAN.

Micronutrient deficiencies and supplementation in anorexia and bulimia nervosa: a review of literature.

Anorexia and bulimia nervosa are characterized by unbalanced eating patterns that include inadequate dietary intake of various nutrients.
Conservation mechanisms resulting from starvation and/or self-prescribed nutrient supplements can result in laboratory values that appear within normal limits.

These artificially inflated values drop to dangerous levels in some patients once rehydration and refeeding begin.

Electrolyte status must be closely monitored during this time to prevent complications.

Other micronutrient deficiencies can be corrected with adequate dietary intake, but patients with eating disorders are unlikely to consume such an adequate diet immediately upon entering treatment, so they may benefit from supplementation.

Depleted nutrient stores require longer supplementation than acute inadequacies in nutrient intake.

This review compiles the findings reported to date regarding micronutrient deficiencies and supplementation for patients with anorexia and bulimia.

Because of the widely varying eating practices from patient to patient and the current lack of data controlling for nutrient self-supplementation, nutrition assessment performed by a nutrition professional via food intake history may be more practical than laboratory tests and more accurate than current food intake for determining potential micronutrient deficiencies.

I am RecoverED with LIMU!

I always knew this day would come, I just had no clue when. I could see that Beautiful Land from this path 2BRecoverED. It could be seen from the top of every mountain I climed, it was "hiding" just around each turn on this miry path as it beckoned to me to keep forging through the muck & slippery pot holes along the way. The beacon of that great city always burned bright to light the way as if begging me to stay on track and not fall off into that black pit of dispair.

Sure, i fell in more times than I wanted. Sure this has been the Hardest path I have ever had to take in My Life. Sure at times I thought this path would surely kill me if I kept moving forward.
But You know what? I Survived and am Thriving!

I am No longer a slave to AN and it's incessant desire to keep Me malnourished!
I am Healthier than I ever have been!
I feel...well...ALIVE for the 1st time in Decades!

It took me a little over 3 years to finish this path 2BRecoverED from Anorexia with LIMU.

Thank You all for Your time tonight. Hope you don’t mind but it’s easier if I just read my notes.

I started this path 2BRecoverED from Restrictive type Anorexia with LIMU a little over 3 years ago when all they had was the Original juice.

I was underweight as far back as I can remember. In the 4th grade the teacher used Me as the model of a skeleton because all my bones protruded from my skin. In fact, that year I weighed between 40-49 pounds and so was this 10 pound a year pattern until the 10th grade when I finally got up to 102; then stopped gaining.

My 1st pregnancy I was able to gain 10 pounds to 112 and My 2nd I gained 22. Both babies were 7lbs 15oz and 21 ½ “long. 4 weeks after giving birth both times I was back to my “normal” 102 size.

By May of 2007 I was eating about ¼ cup of Hamburger Helper at dinner with the Family and hardly drinking anything at all. This is when I stepped on the scale for the 1st time since I could remember & was shocked that my weight was 96 lbs at the age of 35. I had to finally admit to Myself & Family that I had a problem eating food – I was Anorexic.

This is where the path started for Me and within just a week or so I received a call from My Aunt Jane LaLonde about Uncle Terry’s throat cancer. Diagnosed stage 4 and told to get his affairs in order right before the Dr. went on vacation.
She had dabbled in LIMU but with this news she went all in and started him on a regimen of 12oz Original daily. From mid-December to mid-February all he had for any sort of treatment was LIMU and the pictures sold me right away; within that time, his tumor visibly shrunk in ½ and all the redness & swelling gone.
Another 4 months with chemo & radiation with LIMU and he is cancer free to this day – over 3 years now.

I figured if this juice could shrink a tumor, it might just help me 2BRecoverED as well as My Family.
We were making just $460 a month at the time and I made the biggest leap of Faith in my life and made the call. Back then we had to pay $25 membership fee in order to get on Autoship.

What happened next was simply amazing! The case arrived in the late afternoon. I gave my children the recommended 2oz, but Wayne & I took 4. Then before bedtime we took another 4. The next day we did the same and the 3rd we cut back to 2.
We figured it was just food & he with a bent frame due to Osteoarthritis and a nasty cold and me starving to death – literally we had faith that it would Not hurt.

On the 4th day he woke to find himself standing straight up for the 1st time in many years. As for Me, I actually ate a bowl of cereal.

You see, Anorexia is a Mind and Body “illness” and can be manifested by one or the other to begin with and then overlaps both. So when I say I could Not eat, it means that whenever I put food in my mouth it was like chewing rocks – even pudding, then to get the rocks past the throat was near impossible and if by chance some made it to My stomach it sat like well…rocks.

In My case, anorexia started in my brain at a very young age. By the time I was 35 it was all I knew how to do and I did it very well.
Anorexia in my opinion is the polar opposite of Obesity. One clings to food to cover their emotions or help them feel safe in times of stress. The other completely avoids food all together.

Anyways, I stayed on the Original every month - only the Lord knows how we could afford it for the 1st 3 years, but we made it happen and gradually I regained My strength and ability to eat solid food. I also had some ups & downs as I fought the enemy that I had created inside of My mind. My highest weight was 120 which didn’t last long before pressure & stress came along and restriction once again ruled my life. I never stopped the juice but continued to forge on.

Then this year The Company came out with LEAN and I couldn’t have been more thrilled! Finally! A Full Meal in liquid form from a company that I Trust & have come to depend on.
I’ve been told all my life that I walk to the beat of a different drum and so I took a product designed with weight Loss in mind and turned it upside down to fit My needs.

By the time Lean arrived at My door, I was under another attack from within & restriction brought me back down to 102.
At 1st I could only tolerate 1 scoop at a time as I started the Last Re-Feeding Syndrome I’ll ever have to go through for the rest of My Life. They weren’t wrong about all the energy it would take to relearn how to digest food, or the severity of side-effects caused by the Syndrome, ranging from confusion, dizzy, coma and even death. I took the LEAN Summer Challenge more for Me than anything else & was elated to find just days before the end, my Dr. came and said “You are cancer free & 117 pounds.”
I had been previously diagnosed and treated for cervical cancer and this visit was my 1 year check-up to make sure they got it all. Of course after seeing Uncle Terry’s pictures I was never worried about cancer, My biggest problem was the Anorexia.

I guess that was a shock to me on the inside and so I lost 2 pounds, but have successfully stayed 115 for I’m not sure how long now. That’s the most I’ve ever weighed in My Life without pregnancy.

Then vs Now

I sure am Happy to be back on my LIMU Brand LEAN shakes! I had mixed up my days last week & put the call in just 1 day late for a Friday delivery & UPS does not ship here on Saturday, then Monday was the Labor day holiday.
"You don't know what You got until it is gone" is definately a True statement.

I was however conscious of the "feeding times" & length in between. I think i did pretty good in the solids department as I did not lose any weight. Still a healthy 115. Yay!

So i was thinking & talked to My Family about this the other day:
I started at 96 pounds a little over 3 years ago.
I am 115 now.
That is a 19 pound gain over that length of time.
That must be a Healthy weight gain, I conjectured aloud.
"You know Mom," my Daughter says, "When people Diet they are supposed to lose Only about 1.5 to 2 pounds at max per week. So, you're probably right."

Now I know that is "mearly" 5 pounds a year of Sustained Increase to a Healthy Weight with the LIMU Brand, Premier Fucoidan Blend liquid dietary support system.

What an interesting & somewhat enlightening morning I've had here in "the box".

I started my morning with a shot o' LIMU upon wakening. I've been dealing with a bout of depression lately, i guess it started about the beginning of this month after my good news at the Dr. ie: cancer free & 117 pounds. Yay Me.
I didn't really have any "Thoughts" per se as I opened my email, just the 'feeling' of utter avoidance of the box, except I could check email. To my suprize, I saw a mail from a Great Friend who is also traveling the path 2BRecoverED. The subject line read: "Avoidance". How appropriate for a day such as this when I am locked inside my mind, after no contact for about a week. (That's all good btw as we both are busy Women).

This gets me to the interesting part.

Being AN since Elementary school, it really Does seem as if there are 2 people living inside My body. There is me and there is AN. Both fighting to control Me - the outside Body.

The somewhat enlightening part is due to the fact that I need to digest this info so it makes sense. 1/2 way enlightened if You will for now the knowlege is gained, just need application.

So my understanding based on these new discoveries is that Yes, I Do have 2 "person-alities" inhabiting this one physical body. Good news - I'm Not crazy...just ANorexic.
This explains why I feel completely disconnected at times (especially when depression sets in) from My Body and even My own Mind.
This also explains why the restrictive cycle of AN is so hard for me to break. I was right in thinking that i had forged deep neuropathways in My subconsious to engage in This Behavior at any sign of stress, anxiety, discomfort, fear...

I had sucessfully diverged my 'person'-alities into 2 separate but completely functioning entities a couple of years ago to stop "Hearing" The Voice of AN inside my head.

I had NOT stopped the Voice, I just gave it the power & energy to Do what It wanted in the 1st place - To Separate from me completely so that it could control ALL of the "everyday, non 'thinking'" tasks like Breathing, Blinking, Moving, Eating, Resting and yes, even My very Thinking & Feelings

Now I have to figure out How I did that in the 1st place or at least How to Undo what i did. That is integration or Convergence where the 2 become one again - The Conscious Me & the subconscious me.
Although I do Not the AN! I Do want all my faculties to be Mine.

Well, that's deep enough for me.
It's time I left this box in search of something to Eat.

It seems every week or so lately there has been one tainted Food or Drug product after another that we as consumers unwittingly are exposed to & thereby willingly ingesting even more contaminants into Our already weakened Immune Systems.

Lap-Band Surgery, Acid Reflux, Sinus infections, Energy, Sleep, Protein Disease, Better immune system‏

Please let me share my Original Limu story. (Dated 7/21/10)

I'm just over 4 months post-op from lap-band surgery.
I have been drinking the Limu instead of taking
the required multi-vitamin as required by my surgeon.

I have also not needed to take any acid-reducer meds,
such as Prilosec or Nexium
(the Nexium was over $100 - with insurance!).

I can only assume that my immune system
has the capability to adjust to my weight loss
and lower food intake with the assistance of Limu.

I might add that before beginning Limu, I was prone to several
upper respiratory and sinus infections - almost chronically.
I can't even remember that last time I was on an antibiotic!

I also have minimal change disease which is where
too much protein is spilled into the kidneys.

On my last visit to the nephrologist,
she told me that although I still had protein
and would never be cured of this disease,
it was amazing to her that the amount of protein was actually better!

My Sanctuary

Just finishing making a 2 course dinner out of a package of Broccoli Soup mix with 1st being soup of course, then added parmesan cheese, some onion & garlic powders & some Butter Buds to go over linguini pasta.
I feel real good about making the dinner tonight along with the little extra creative effort given to give My Husband a decent meal instead of just plain soup. I’m taking a break while waiting for the pasta to finish cooking as it’s been 15 minutes boiling and still no end in sight.
Then I’ll continue on my break while he eats because after being in front of the stove, food & smells for the last 45 minutes is sending my whole system parts running away to a safe sanctuary where food is no where to be found…in my office.

That reminds me, a good Friend in Australia once suggested that since I am comfortable in here, maybe i should bring My food in here so that the anxiety surrounding the “time” would not be so bad. I shrugged it off and probably dismissed that whole part of the conversation. (Sorry, You know who You are)

So as I sit, taking a break, guess i have time to explore this for a minute.

I do not think that bringing Solid food into my office/sanctuary is such a good idea right now. i am just now getting used to drinking My LEAN shakes in here and that took me almost 9 weeks into the Refeeding Syndrome.

This is My place to get my mind settled before going onto the next task that will take energy, concentration & perseverance to accomplish – my cool down place if You will. Here I get My breathing right and my mind in the proper set to get up & go at ‘em, whatever the “chore” might be.
This sanctuary, away from all food & filled with Peace & Love, is what seems to be keeping Me sane right now with the much needed break from My busy Body and allows me to catch up and fight the Voice to keep it at bay while i gain the strength to pass the next test, whatever it is that up ahead may lay.

So for now i’ll keep things as they are separated by space & time until the anxiety wears off a bit & i can tolerate more than LIMU LEAN invading my special sanctuary reserved for only Me.

Someday, in the Land called RecoverED, i will eat freely, be renewed & strengthened to Be Me.

Oh, i am just so pleased with MySelf! I just finished my 2nd assessment on the http://smart-eating.com/ webpage – a site dedicated to helping people overcome their Eating Disorder as well as educating and encouraging Our Family and Friends to give overall Hope and Recovery possible. All free of charge.

My final score showed that I am indeed at the Maintenance Level on my journey down the path 2 B RecoverED -
Great News for Me and the LIMU Brand of wellness product lines.

My overall health is good and I was enlightened once again to some key areas that I need to focus on and be aware of so that I Can reach The Land, that I’m closing in on every day.

Traveling this way really is Not hard, I am pleased to say. I just wish I knew about this years ago when that light would have come in Real handy on some of those slippery, rocky slopes.

Back To The Basics

With summer vacations winding down & preparations for another school year begin,
I am reminded about getting back to the basics.
Every year my Daughter spends the summer away at her Dad's
to return just days before school starts.
So around here the rules of Our Home & Life are
always being brought back to The Basics.

My LIMU LEAN Challenge Results

Hello!
I'm Barbara A Thornton a.k.a. Lady Limu and I also completed the LIMU'Summer in the Sun' 90 day Challenge.
However, my Mission was to Gain a LEAN, Healthy weight as I finish my journey on the path 2BRecoverED from Anorexia (AN).

I started the path 3 years ago when all LIMU had was their ORIGINAL juice - 'The Blessing' I like to call it because i was 96 pounds when the Opportunity was presented to me.

Never could I have imagined another product on the market designed with Optimal Nutrients & Health in mind...until LIMU LEAN Meal ReplacementShakes, although i call them Meal Addition.

The 1st few weeks on the LEAN was grueling. Previously i had sustained my weight at 120lbs but a series of unfortunate life events facilitated the AN triggers & subsequent restriction of all food leaving me totally Dependent on the Original juice as that was all i was "allowing" MySelf to ingest.

I started the Challenge;
Weighing 102;
Wearing a size 12 to 14 GIRLS pants;
My breasts less than an A cup;
My hips, non existant except the protruding bones;
My limbs were little more than straight sticks.

In the beginning I could only tolerate 1 scoop as the AN & me had to gothrough the Refeeding Syndrome - where Solid Food is re-introduced intomy system parts & This is the Make it or Break it stage.
The side effects include confusion, comotose, even death. The bodytakes ALL the energy from every cell and uses it to Digest which leavesNOTHING left over for thinking or even moving.

After a couple of weeks I increased my daily dosage to the full 2 scoops once a day with a 1
scoop in between as well as increasing my "feeding times" and portions.
By week 5 I was up to 108 having gained 6 Solid, Muscle pounds (NOT fatwhich helped to lessen the anxiety about the weight gain - knowing it wasNot fat).

By July 5th, I was at 110 when I went on a 3 week vacation after another"triggering" death. 1.5 weeks later i was dealth another serioustriggering, unfortunate event that left me completely devastated.
I combated the AN the Only way i knew how - LIMU LEAN, Original juice &Blu Frog throughout every day.

When I arrived home I was happily amazed to find my weight was still at110! I had lost Nothing as my solids decreased & liquids LIMU increased.

Back home with the last week of the Challenge, i really set My mind & schedule to reach my goal - 117 to 120 in 90 days. My LEAN increased to twice daily while I continued to push through the AN wall forcing the solid food to go down.

It just so happened I was due for my 1 year cervical cancer check-upright as the Challenge was ending. There's good news x 2 to this story.

Not only am I cancer Free!
My weight is 117.
My pants are size 5 WOMENs;
My breasts are nearly a B cup;
My hips no longer allow me to step into a slip, it now must go over my head.
My limbs were commented on just yesturday by my 13 yr old daughter,"Mom!" she exclaimed as she reached over to grab my bicep & squeeze thethickness. "You have really big muscles! I want mine to look that way."

Melted my heart to hear My Daughter say that she wanted to be Like Me. NOW that I am healthy. I flexed them both and watched the amazed smile float across her face. She was Proud of Me.

I give the Lord the glory for this awesome transformation going on inMy Body & Mind and I give LIMU the praise for walking in His ways to bring real Healing & Health to Me & You!

My LEAN 90 day Challenge

Good Day All!

The LIMU LEAN Summer Challenge has ended and soon the winner of the most weight lost will be announced. I can't wait to see everyone's testimony & progress these past 3 months! What an amazing Blessing, this LIMU Brand is - for it honestly Does what is promotes - Gives Any Body the Nutrients & fuel it needs to reach maximum potential. Best part of all? The system is so easy to use, one canNot help but get to a Healthy weight!

My LEAN challenge has ended as well, but that does Not mean i will stop using the lime of products to Maintain my health.

Here are my stats (so far):

Start Weight: 102 pounds
End Weight: 117 lbs

I was able to gain 15 whole pound in 90 days using the LEAN Weight Management System on My path, 2BRecoverED.

I went from a size 12-14 GIRLS to a a full size 5 WOMENS. That in itself is pretty amazing for Me.

The weight gain (I can 'feel') has been mostly all muscle - as well as the Much Needed Visceral Fat that protects my organs & body from injury. Other times when i have gained weight, it looks & Feels like fat. This is different with ALL toned limbs as the Muscles are Finally allowed to grow - instead of my body feeding off them for life support.

The Refeeding Syndrome was a real bear at the beginning. Everything i put in my mouth caused me to completely shut down - comotose (or sleeping as i call it) for upwards of 3 hours after each ingestion. That was really driving Me nuts as the AN had been keeping me physically & mentally busy to avoid the food intake. At this stage i was only able to handle 2 - one scoop shakes daily as the 2 scoops were very heavy on my stomach.
So when I went down flat i did feel like a failure which was a precarious position for me to hold. My hosehold chores as well as my online presense with my writings were stifled during this major change in the 1st part of the LEAN Challenge, causing More feelings of failure.

Of course as time went on, my sleeping times started to turn in the direction of just deep rest with slight sleeping times as My body was relearning how to eat like "normal". By this time i had increased LEAN dosage to the full recommended 2 scoops.

The last 30 days of the challenge was a Great challenge for Me as I went on an almost 3 week vacation with my Parents & Children. Tons of triggering events & explosive conversations coupled with the "new found" fact that My Parents do NOT eat like "normal" ie: breakfast was always a must for them (which is the hardest feeding time for me) but the rest of their day was filled with "grazing" on a piece of cheese and 5 crackers, lunch was skipped most days, with dinner being the only real meal served.

This way of feeding fit right in with my AN. She was overjoyed that it Was Normal to just NOT eat once again. It was at this stage that I was Blessed to add the Blu Frog Energy Drink to my diet on a Daily basis. - Thanks Mom & Dad!

For the last 2 weeks of the trip i was ingesting 2 LEAN shakes, 2 Blu Frogs and 2 shots of LIMU the ORIGINAL premium Fucoidan blend juice with some 'snacking'.
When i got home it was almost back to square one where my refeeding Times were once again honored by Me. I was simply Amazed to see the scale read 110 when I got home.

LIMU HIV Testimony

Hello everyone my name is David and I live in Oklahoma. I wanted to take the time to share my personal Limu story with you. On May 28, 2009 I was diagnosed with HIV. Yes I was devastated to say the least. I began seeing an internal medicine specialist immediately. He told me we would monitor the progression of the disease and see how my body responded to it. By my third visit to the doctor in Oct. 2009 the virus was taken over my body and I was getting sick. The doctor told me at that time if I did not start on meds I would be dead within two years. I began to pray and ask God to bring something into my life that could help me get healthy again. In April 2010 my mother asked me to start drinking Limu. I decided I would give it a shot. I began drinking 4 ounces twice a day. I had more blood work done in May 2010 and what a change in my body in a short period of time. My cholesterol had dropped 20+ points, my liver enzymes were back to normal, my kidney enzymes were back to normal, and the viral load is virtually undetectable. My t-cells or helpers cells have risen to 1428 way above normal and my doctor told me to keep drinking the Limu. I have no desire to ever be sick again so I had already determined I was going to keep drinking it. I have also noticed that I have had to take no allergy meds this year. Cracked Pots

A water bearer in China had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walk from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his house.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect for which it was made.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

After 2 years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house."

The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?

That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you've watered them.

For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house."

Moral:

Each of us has our own unique flaws. We're all cracked pots. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. You've just got to take each person for what they are, and look for the good in them........

The Yellow shirt

The yellow shirt had long sleeves, four extra-large pockets trimmed in black thread and snaps up the front. It was faded from years of wear, but still in decent shape. I found it in 1963 when I was home from college on Christmas break, rummaging through bags of clothes Mom intended to give away.

'You're not taking that old thing, are you?' Mom said when she saw me packing the yellow shirt.. 'I wore that when I was pregnant with your brother in 1954!'

'It's just the thing to wear over my clothes during art class, Mom. Thanks!' I slipped it into my suitcase before she could object. The yellow shirt be came a part of my college wardrobe. I loved it.

After graduation, I wore the shirt the day I moved into my new apartment and on Saturday mornings when I cleaned.

The next year, I married. When I became pregnant, I wore the yellow shirt during big-belly days. I missed Mom and the rest of my family, since we were in Colorado and they were in Illinois . But, that shirt helped. I smiled, remembering that Mother had worn it when she was pregnant, 25 years earlier.

That Christmas, mindful of the warm feelings the shirt had given me, I patched one elbow, wrapped it in holiday paper and sent it to Mom. When Mom wrote to thank me for her 'real' gifts, she said the yellow shirt was lovely. She never mentioned it again..

The next year, my husband, daughter and I stopped at Mom and Dad's to pick up some furniture. Days later, when we uncrated the kitchen table, I noticed something yellow taped to its bottom. The shirt!

And so the pattern was set.

On our next visit home, I secretly placed the shirt under Mom and Dad's mattress. I don't know how long it took for her to find it, but almost two years passed before I discovered it under the base of our living-room floor lamp. The yellow shirt was just what I needed now while refinishing furniture. The walnut stains added character.

In 1975 my husband and I divorced. With my three children, I prepared to move back to Illinois . As I packed, a deep depression overtook me. I wondered if I could make it on my own. I wondered if I would find a job. I paged through the Bible, looking for comfort. In Ephesians, I read, 'So use every piece of God's armor to resist the enemy whenever he attacks, and when it is all over, you will be standing up.'

I tried to picture myself wearing God's armor, but all I saw was the stained yellow shirt.. Slowly, it dawned on me. Wasn't my mother's love a piece of God's armor? My courage was renewed.

Unpacking in our new home, I knew I had to get the shirt back to Mother. The next time I visited her, I tucked it in her bottom dresser drawer.

Meanwhile, I found a good job at a radio station. A year later I discovered the yellow shirt hidden in a rag bag in my cleaning closet.

Something new had been added. Embroidered in bright green across the breast pocket were the words 'I BELONG TO PAT.'

Not to be outdone, I got out my own embroidery materials and added an apostrophe and seven more letters.

Now the shirt proudly proclaimed, 'I BELONG TO PAT'S MOTHER.' But I didn't stop there. I zig-zagged all the frayed seams, then had a friend mail the shirt in a fancy box to Mom from Arlington , VA. We enclosed an official looking letter from 'The Institute for the Destitute,' announcing that she was the recipient of an award for good deeds.

I would have given anything to see Mom's face when she opened the box. But, of course, she never mentioned it.

Two years later, in 1978, I remarried. The day of our wedding, Harold and I put our car in a friend's garage to avoid practical jokers. After the wedding, while my husband drove us to our honeymoon suite, I reached for a pillow in the car to rest my head. It felt lumpy... I unzipped the case and found, wrapped in wedding paper, the yellow shirt.. Inside a pocket was a note: 'Read John 14:27-29. I love you both, Mother.'

That night I paged through the Bible in a hotel room and found the verses: 'I am leaving you with a gift: peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid. Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really love me, you will be very happy for me, for now I can go to the Father, who is greater than I am. I have told you these things before they happen so that when they do, you will believe in me.'

The shirt was Mother's final gift. She had known for three months that she had terminal Lou Gehrig's disease. Mother died the following year at age 57.

I was tempted to send the yellow shirt with her to her grave. But I'm glad I didn't, because it is a vivid reminder of the love-filled game she and I played for 16 years. Besides, my older daughter is in college now, majoring in art. And every art student needs a baggy yellow shirt with big pockets.

Separating at the seam

I heard the most interesting thing about 10 minutes ago as I was
rearranging the look & info on my blog.
Just as I was about to Do something, I heard,
"We should do this..." followed by some sort of unspoken agreement
& whatever the ... was -
that task was completed without much effort or fuss.

I realize that conversation in my head may seem to You
on the Outside of EDs
to be No big deal.
As This Was My initial reaction too.

The fact that I heard "WE Should" was, on one side a very
comforting sentance since I had not heard it often
in the past couple of years.

To my wonderment it was if an Old Friend had
Finally stopped for a visit & chat.
Just like days of old, We were together and sharing equally
of this same space and time with no worries, fights or shame
simply at ease to be ONE Together again.

To enjoy each other's Inclusion in Mind AND Task was a
serene illusion for the instant Joy i felt knowing that
I was Not alone Inside because my
AN did still reside where for now we are on
tentative speaking terms.

With all My hard work with My Health, weight Gain
and tools to learn, i have not had the time or strength
to spend With her.

So to Hear An speak to Me
Was a strange & unexpected incident.

Then I got to "thinking" as it was deep inside,
the thoughts hidden behind that veil so
only the sense of a strange
"feeling" that something was wrong.

I continued on in Our tasks however the clock
I could no longer remiss as the minutes did pass.
Knowing it had been 2 hours since I awoke and only 1 shot o' juice
with all the coffe did I ingest,
those words which were so sweet & welcoming at first
became a sick mantra to keep Me from passing the feeding test.

I rose from this seat & box, my work left "incomplete"
to the kitchen I Did Go,
pouring a Full glass of whole mik with No water
I poured my 2 scoops of LEAN in.

Only seconds in the Magic Bullet & my meal was ready,
insert straw and have a seat again to Thank the Lord for My

That last post, "I'm Tired" by Robert A. Hall was sent to Me by a couple of Good Friends, I stopped by my email quick before coming here to share my Praise Report of Great News and found this waiting.

I must Thank Them - AKC - for thinking of me and Mr. Robert A. Hall for putting into words so succinctly feelings & thoughts rambling about a bunch of minds lately - If they could only be heard.

I'm happy to say this path 2BRecoverED is almost complete!
I went for my 1yr Dr. appt after having the loop done for cervical cancer.
Clean bill of Health with no show for 1 year.

Best part was...I Am 117!

"I'm 63 and I'm Tired"

I'm 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I've worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven't called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there's no retirement in sight, and I'm tired. Very tired.

I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I'm tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to "keep people in their homes." Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I'm willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.

I'm tired of being told how bad America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood Entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the economy of Zimbabwe, the freedom of the press of China, the crime and violence of Mexico, the tolerance for Christian people of Iran, and the freedom of speech of Venezuela ...

I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari'a law tells them to.

I'm tired of being told that "race doesn't matter" in the post-racial world of Obama, when it's all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of U.S. Senators from Illinois.

I think it's very cool that we have a Black President and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation. I just wish the Black President was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.

I'm tired of a news media that thinks Bush's fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama's, at triple the cost, were wonderful; that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush's military records, but never demanded that Kerry release his; that slammed Palin, with two years as Governor, for being too inexperienced for VP, but touted Obama with three years as Senator as potentially the best president ever. Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching to Fox News? Get a clue. I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, but the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.

I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America , while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.

I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore's, and if you're greener than Gore, you're green enough.

I'm tired of being told that Drug Addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I'm tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried Marijuana.

I'm tired of Illegal Aliens being called "undocumented workers," especially the ones who aren't working, but are living on welfare or crime. What's next? Calling drug dealers, "Undocumented Pharmacists"? And, no, I’m not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it's been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion. I'm willing to Fast Track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn't have a Criminal Record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves Honorably for three years in our Military.... Those are the citizens we NEED.

I'm tired of latte Liberals and Journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a Recruiting Station, trashing our Military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in WAR? You bet. Do our Troops sometimes misbehave? Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? Not even close. So here's the deal. I'll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims, who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we'll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

I'm tired of people telling me that their Party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on Corruption. Read the papers; bums are bipartisan. And I'm tired of people telling me we need Bipartisanship. I live in Illinois , where the "Illinois Combine" of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the TAX CHEATS in Obama's cabinet.

I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting CAUGHT. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

Speaking of poor, I'm tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn't have that in 1970, but we didn't know we were "poor." The Poverty Pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.

LEAN Progress

Today i am very Pleased & Proud of MySelf. Stepping on the scale with trepidation & bracing myself for the (assured) let down when the # (i knew) would Not have changed.

Of course these thoughts belonged to the Voice i soon found out when the number stopped just barely before 114.

Elation & Joy came alongside the relief i felt from inside my Mind and out to Me. A real feat accomplished this time...almost 3 weeks off my scheduled feeding times, plus losing 2 pounds last week.
So instead of gaining "just" 3.5 lbs, it was more like 5.5 - 2 to get Back to 110 & then 3.5 to get to now. What a Relief to see & feel the Difference LIMU makes when You take the time to fortify the Body & Mind.

It has Not been an easy task - having to go through the beginnings of the refeeding syndrome Again. I have spend the last 3 or so days going from feeding to rest & back again. My mind is foggy from going through "the change" or "switch-over" if You will from AN to Me. The ATP levels in my cells are working feriously to digest the food which leaves little for the physical excertions of the day.

However, I continue to LEAN & to juice a total of 4 times daily along with "forcing" Me to stop & Eat solid food too.
"The proof is in the pudding." My Husband says & I'm inclined to agree.

In cooking as in Life, new recepies are always tried, to feed on & grow. We never know what the new taste will be but we choose to have Faith in those who made it before us. Convincing Voice

I had an interesting experience earlier one afternoon when

we went over to a Friend’s house for BBQ rib lunch.

Not wanting to go through the Refeeding syndrome

“bad” side-effects, I opted Not to eat.

Plus the smells of that meat was actually not appetizing to me.

At one time, ribs were my favorite, but that was over 20 years ago.

Now all i smell is the meat part and that sickens me.

I have to “be in the mood” and have my “timing” right in order to

even “think” about attempting to eat.

So I was explaining the comatose state one goes through with the syndrome,

which mine is getting easier, but given the type of food,

it would lay me flat out cold & i did not want

to have to go through that at a gathering.

I was able to sit in the same area where they were all eating –

which Was a plus because usually i have to run away from

seeing & smelling other people eat.

What happened next was completely unexpected

and utterly unforeseeable to Me.

One by one, everyone that had eaten started to make their way

to their cars to go home and…Take a Nap!

These were “healthy” people with good appetites & eating portions.

These people were not fat but they were more healthier than I.

These are the kind of people i would consider “normal eaters”

and They were being taken down flat by the food –

the Same reaction that I would have

and that I did Not want to have because

that would make me “different” and my AN more noticeable.

Come to find out, that was the Voice who

had Me convinced that Only an anorexic

gets “sick” off food.

New Life with LIMU

A Lean shake for dinner makes meal Kudo # 4 and the Blu Frog just prior to that gives me a little more…maybe 5 I’d say. Dinner & some vacuuming done along with giving the thirsty outside plants a drink, i have come here for My rest time & to think.

The thoughts are already there i know - it’s just that they refuse to show, through that black, velvety veil that I have come to know so well.
It is when I have a quite moment both In & Outside My Mind that i have access &
Are able to express the feelings or conclusions I have come to.

These thoughts, feelings & even memories come by so fast and their stay brief that at times I wish My mind was “well” like the “normal” people i pass on the street.

As I let go of me, My fingers & hands are free to Say, Think, Feel & just Be…
The Only Real me - who has been hiding, then imprisoned by The Voice of the AN
in Me.

In my writing zone My mind is free to roam as words form pages to articulate as i think, helping Me understand this Earthly Life I must Protect and Live; as I Learn & Develop new skills & tools to overcome Life’s anxiety, anger & strife.

“Normal Is as Normal Does” as long as everything is in moderation &
Mindful Self Health is done.

Sure enough, every time my writing is complete for the moment, I am relaxed & enjoyed the time just Being & Learning - Me.

I s’pose this 2BRecoverED Road is just about paved.

It is easy to daydream about possibilities, but it is out on the firing line that the, “Yeah, but what if ---“ comes into play. That is just human nature.
Regardless of that, You need to find a way to convince Yourself to take the risks that are inherent with any new endeavor.

Your logical mind wants to control You and give You all the reasons why something may not work, but it is Your spiritual, imaginative mind that is going to create the life You really want.

It is kind of like the baby osprey in its nest. It is a long way to the ground, but sooner or later it must find the courage to try out its wings. And then the miracle happens and a whole new world of freedom opens up to it.
The same thing will happen to You. Sure, it’s a long ways down, but You’ll never experience the real beauty of the sky if You don’t give it a try. You’ll be really glad You did.

Easiest Path To Take

Things are starting to settle back down to normal since returning from vacation. I'm caught up with emails and the home chores are getting back into the routine. I am once again up to to 2 LEAN shakes a day - both are 2 scoops - and a couple of snacks during sunlight and a big dinner followed by dessert & "binge eating" before bed. The binges consist of solid foods intake for about 30 minutes to 1.5 hours after 9pm - depending on how well it goes down physically and if i can stay mentally disassociated from the act of eating.

Today i woke to have a shot o' juice which i followed with the LEAN all before my coffee, that is a 1st for me. However i just "felt" that I needed to eat something and the shakes are the Easiest way to go for me in the morning.
I am very proud of myself for choosing the LEAN option over my "normal" habit of skipping breffie to drink coffee in My office as i type away.

Right now my mind is a bit fuzzy & My body is 'heavy' as those miniscule nutrients are making their way through My bloodstream; repairing the damage of yesturday's physically strenuous & active back to the grind house chores, removing dead, dying & unhealthy cells from my system parts and rebuilding My body & mind to more acurately reflect My 38 years.

So i will cut this short to give Me what i need - a rest to let the LIMU & Refeeding Syndrome work at full speed. Praise the Lord Jesus that each day I get stronger as i continue to Live My Life His way - taking nourishment into my Body, Mind & Soul.
