I had the best Thanksgiving dinner that I've had in years! I actually had a loaded plate with all the trimmings and Loved the many different great tastes. The whole Family as well as MySelf was quite surprised to see that I actually Finished my plate.
It's been so long since I have enjoyed this holiday, it's not even funny. Usually after Halloween, my anxiety & AN triggers set in and by Thanksgiving, i was a wreck & could only eat a few morsels to keep my table mates off my back about the whole food & eating issue.
This time was different. The anxiety & whatever triggers that the AN had previously used have been lessened. I enjoyed being at the table, surrounded by Family, good conversation & food. I did not think about restriction once.
I was in training for the past few days - eating more solids throughout the day so that when turkey time came, my mind & stomach would be better equipped to handle the massive amounts. (Massive being a Whole plate)

This is where the Fucoidan focused nutrition company LIMU has taken me since finishing the Road, 2BRecoverED and taking up residence in the LIMU Nation among others who have found their way.
I can't say that I am sad to leave this path & chapter of my life behind, a little anxious maybe as with moving into any new place to call home where everything will finally be all in one place. Of course there is unpacking & rearranging to do, but I think the move is quite positive considering where i have been.

New Dwelling Place
I just stepped off the sale where it read 119-120, leaning closer to the 120 pound mark. I had been putting off the whole scale business for over a week as i continued to see my body in the mirror as getting 'fat' - more like curvy than fat, nevertheless still a dramatic change.
I have been going through a bunch of triggers these couple of weeks, from my Dad's diagnosis of MDS, Halloween, a sick dog and going into the Holiday Season so my eating hasn't been quite up to par as far as feeding Times go. Then the transformation happening before my eyes I guess was a trigger in itself to eat less. I am faithful with my LIMU juice but have been skipping days on the LEAN. Yesturday I ate a bowl of cereal and a LEAN shake all before noon, it was a good day.
To see my weight so Healthy was truely a shock. I had suspected the increase due to my 'fat' clothes (size 5) being a bit too snug, by my brain says,
"How can this be? I know how much food you have ingested and still your weight continues to climb. What's up with that?"
"Can only be the LIMU Brand I guess." I answer back. "Besides, You look good. Your Husband & Daughter think and say You look great and NOT fat. These curves are a Good and Natural thing. You are supposed to have them - certainly by Your late 30's for goodness sake!"

Nutrition: The Eating Disorders Factor
Statistically, 1 in 4 college women suffer from an Eating Disorder in America. That is ONE out of Every FOUR!

Fully Recovered

This is where I am after completing my latest http://smart-eating.com/ testing. Whoo-Hoo! Yay Me!
That page has been extremely helpful to the final steps of my journey 2BRecoverED with LIMU. It is one thing to Physically recover from the devastating effects caused by severe malnutrition, ie: Anorexia, however to recover from the mental aspects of Eating Disorders is a whole new frontier.
I've been a member of the Smart-Eating page for some time now, learning through sound teaching, worksheets & homework, etc. how to better manage my Mental state as I invest in my Body's health with the LIMU Brand. I knew my physical Self was "healed" due to the #'s (weight gain, BMI, menses) but had no real way of determining my mental Self. Then I opened my mail today to find a note from Fong with a reminder for my next testing session. I had received the previous mail, but that "something" kept me from entering in to sit & do the test.
The testing itself was Very Easy, all but 1 multiple choice. The 1st time I tested it did take me s bit longer than this because I had to Delve to find the answers from within. This time around, they were right at the surface and I was able to breeze through the different sections with energy, enthusiam & strength. The anxiety & fear were gone from the 1st question answered.
I was pleasantly suprized to see my scores so high since the last testing. Some scoring 100 and every aspect of my physical & mental health had seen improvement.
It was nice to have an actual answer at the end of it. I hate not knowing.
